About Ann

Hi, I’m Ann, owner of Painted Sky Boutique! My journey started on a cattle and hay farm in southern Illinois, where I learned the meaning of hard work, resilience, and faith. As an only child, I was my dad's right hand, plowing fields and handling cattle chores from a young age. My passion for agriculture led me to earn a degree in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science, and I continued to immerse myself in the farm life I loved—even milking cows through college! Life has thrown its share of challenges my way, including the tragic loss of my husband, Randy. Through it all, God’s grace and strength have carried me forward. Today, I'm blessed to raise my three wonderful boys, Lane, Clay, and Ty, on our cherished 40-acre farm in northern Illinois, surrounded by nature, animals, and a supportive community. These experiences have shaped who I am and inspired me to create a space that celebrates every woman’s unique story.
